In a new video explaining the ups, downs, and current status of his music career, N7 took a moment to praise his long-time rap partner, Pwap.

“If it wasn’t for him, we would’ve never changed so much in the music scene in Oklahoma,” said the Oklahoma City rapper while addressing rumors about why the duo stopped making music together.

From 2018 to 2020, N7 & Pwap were on another level. They were  accumulating millions of views on their music videos and on track to be the next big thing in the music industry. That’s when a string of events— which N7 explains in his video— occur and their momentum was derailed. Nonetheless, the two made a major impact and helped lift the lid off the basket for Oklahoma rap.

Pwap has consistently released new music over the past few years, including his latest release, “Back to Back.”

N7 hasn’t released nearly as much but has appeared on a few features and released his first solo music video in a long time, “Crash Out,” a few months ago.
